RE Tesco's plans for Station Avenue car park. Why remove the much-loved flower beds bordering Station Avenue?
The building which combines the bus station with the only public toilet in the centre of Filey is basically sound but is in a poor state due to lack of maintenance. The roof woodwork should be repaired and the skylights cleaned.

The toilets are more heavily used in the summer season when they should be cleaned twice a day and any unpleasant odours masked by air freshener. All traces of graffiti and vandalism should be removed and the building kept in a good state of decoration.

Local police should be asked to visit the site frequently and regularly on foot.
