Police warning as speed sites revealed

Motorists in Filey and Hunmanby are being warned to watch their speed or risk arrest.

The message comes as North Yorkshire Police announced the location of mobile speed cameras in the area.

The force will have cameras on the A165 Reighton by-pass between Sands Road and Hunmanby Road, as well as the A1039 between Filey Road at Flixton. They will also be on the A64 near Scarborough.

The mobile cameras will be located there at various times and points until Tuesday November 6, and the cameras will not be in use all day, every day.

Due to operating constraints at some of the sites, North Yorkshire Police say that mobile safety camera locations may change on occasions without prior warning.
