A HUNMANBY couple who share the same wedding anniversary as Methodist minister Chris Kirkman and his wife made it a triple celebration by joining up with them and another church couple for a special meal at the Wrangham House Hotel.
Eric and Muriel Paulger were celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary at North Star in Flamborough last year when they got talking to Rev Kirkman and his wife Anne, who were also enjoying an anniversary meal.
They decided to meet up again for their anniversaries this year – and
invited Hunmanby's new Methodist

minister Rev Brice Herbert and his wife Judith to join them. The Herberts arrived from New Zealand last year.

Mrs Paulger said: "It was a wet and bitterly cold day – just like it was when we got married – but it was lovely at Wrangham House."
