BABES in the Wood producer Andrew Santon has thanked his cast and crew and the many people who supported the panto at Hunmanby Community Centre for making it such a huge success.
Hunmanby Drama Club was delighted that audiences were so responsive and entered into the spirit of the show.

According to Mr Santon, who was making his directorial debut, very few tickets remained unsold and some people enjoyed it so much they came back for a second helping.

Mr Santon said he was so proud of all the cast and backstage crew for entertaining audiences in such a professional manner and thanked local people for supporting the show.

"After months of rehearsals and quite a few sleepless nights I was thrilled by the atmosphere at all of the performances. Since the shows, people have stopped me in the street to say just how much they enjoyed the pantomime and that they haven't laughed so much in ages."

The pantomime was written by Bob Hartwell who played the part of Clara the 'dame'.

Hunmanby Drama Club always welcome new members, whether you want to act or help backstage. For more information, contact Bob Hartwell on 890765 or Peter Porter on 890696.
