PUPILS at Hunmanby Primary School are giving their old shoes and clothes a new lease of life by recycling them for the benefit of
others.
Shoes collected at the school are sent through the Variety Club to Third World countries where they are repaired and resold at affordable prices, providing a means of earning a living in countries where opportunities are sparse.
Collected clothing is used by the Salvation Army to help people near and far following flood, famine, natural disaster and misfortune.
The collection bins are located in the school hall.
