A GROUNDBREAKING talk from Filey's famous Bronze Age ancestor Gristhorpe Man had to be cancelled at the last minute and will not take place until next year.
He was due to be brought back to life in the first facial reconstruction of the prehistoric character by Dr Alan Ogden from the University of Bradford.

However, Dr Ogden had to cancel the event at The Rotunda – The William Smith Museum of Geology in Scarborough – after falling ill.

Scarborough Museums Trust said it will reschedule the talk for 2010.
