A HUNMANBY man who is already in custody has been charged with a further seven offences.
The 35 year old was due to appear before magistrates in Scarborough last Friday to answer charges of handling stolen goods, three counts of false representation, two of theft and one of burglary and theft.
However, the case was adjourned until Friday February 26, with the defendant remanded in custody until then.
The alleged offences are said to have been committed in Hunmanby and Scarborough between November and December last year.
