KEEN gardeners in Hunmanby will be opening their garden gates this weekend to raise funds for Hunmanby in Bloom.
The annual Hidden Gardens of Hunmanby event takes place today and tomorrow from 11am to 5pm – and will include a gardeners' question time with Scarborough Council's Roger Burnett.

The work of the Young Bloomers will be on show as Hunmanby Primary School will be opening its doors to visitors today. And there will be something for everyone, as a teddy bear hunt will be taking place for younger visitors.

Spokesman Andrew Santon said some gardens would also be running plant stalls, adding there will be light lunches available in one garden while teas, coffees and home-made cakes will be on sale in another.

Tickets will be on sale in Bayley Gardens on each day from 10.30am, with adults costing £3 and accompanied children under 16 free.
