A FILEY woman, who took part in the Race for Life, has thanked all her friends and customers who helped her raise £389 for Cancer Research UK.
Aggie McNaboe, of Doran Close, works as a forecourt assistant at the Imperial Garage in Station Road, Filey, and joined more than 1,500 women in following the three-mile course at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough, earlier this month.

She said: “It was the first time I had taken part and I really enjoyed it. I might do it again next year. I would like to say a big thank you to my friends and customers who sponsored me.”
