A FILEY beauticians raised more than £100 for the Filey Ladies' Lifeboat Guild in a special beauty day.
Visitors to The Beauty Salon in Hope Street were treated to a glass of wine, a look round the salon, consultations and demonstrations.

Owner, Rachel Stevenson, said: “It was a very successful day. Ladies were able to find out about some of our newer treatments. It was also an opportunity for ladies to come and look round the salon if they had never been before.”

New treatments at the salon include Crystal Clear Microdermabrasion, spray tanning and an anti cellulite treatment. The salon also has a new nail technician. She offers both acrylic and gel nails.
