FILEY dog-lover Julie Viles has been given yet more reasons to feel proud of her pet pooch Cally.
The multi-award winning two-year-old Skye terrier won the postgraduate bitch class and finished second in the limit bitch category at the Border Union Championship show held in Kelso, Scotland, last month.

Then, last weekend, she was again named top dog in the AV Terrier postgraduate class at the Crowle Agricultural Show.

Cllr Viles added: "Prior to going on holiday she passed the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme's bronze award held at the Bearded Collie Club's weekend camp near Helmsley. Cally was allowed to participate as I'm still a member – she was the only non-beardie present!

"For passing we got a lovely rosette and diploma and this now entitles Cally to go in the special class at Crufts which is only for dogs who have passed the bronze test."
