A FLIXTON holiday farm has teamed up with Natural England to provide a range of “back to nature” events throughout the spring and summer season.
Humble Bee Farm, which offers visitors a choice of wigwams, holiday cottages, caravan and camping pitches, is taking part in the Higher Level Stewardship Scheme, which allows participating farms to staged themed events throughout the year.
The family-friendly activities will include wildlife walks, pond-dipping, mini-beast hunting, owl watching and games, while later in the season there will be a Puffin Cruise along Bempton Cliffs and night-time nature walks.
Wildlife and birdlife experts Richard Baines and Steve Race will be the hosts, and the events will take place in and around the stunning countryside which surrounds the farm.
Most of the activities are free, but places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The first event will be a Springtime farm wildlife walk on Saturday, April 16. For more information, log onto www.humblebeefarm.co.uk
