Classical superstar to headline Open Air Theatre show

Soprano Katherine Jenkins, who will play the Open Air Theatre this summer

Classical superstar Katherine Jenkins is the latest big name act to be announced for Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre this summer.

The Welsh soprano will play the multi-million pound venue on Saturday August 3, headlining a last night of the proms celebration.

She will be joined on stage by the National Symphony Orchestra.

Tickets go on sale from Friday 24 February at venues throughout the borough. Prices start at £38.50.
