From Russia with love - and music!

FILEY is set to shine brightly in a special musical concert featuring star Russian performers.

Filey Methodist Church will welcome concert pianist Vitaly Matveev and Soprano Olga Grechko alongside Yorkshire Alto Helen Womack on Saturday, May 19.

The Northern Lights show will include music by Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Handel, Purcell and a number of other classic numbers.

Pete Hazledine, who is helping to co-ordinate the event, said: “If you were here three years ago when Vitaly last performed for us you will realise what a talent he is.

“The standard and variety of the music can be guaranteed.”

Tickets for the show are priced at £8 and are selling quickly.
