PUPILS at Filey School are top of the class in the fashion stakes - after donning a new uniform.
The school, in Muston Road, has introduced a new look for the new term, with boys wearing jumpers and girls attending lessons in cardigans adorned with the school’s crest.
The move comes as the school’s Year Seven students get used to their new environment, with assistant headteacher Nick Messenger saying the changes had brought great positivity.
He said: “The students, and everyone at the school, is pleased with the new uniform which has made them look a lot smarter.
“We have had a lot of positive feedback from pupils who said the uniform makes them feel more like going to school.
“The Year Seven students have fitted in very well at the school and the older pupils have been very supportive to them and helped them get to know their surroundings.”
