Filey councillor Sam Cross is urging people to get on board with the Filey “little bus” to help ensure its future for many years to come.
Cllr Cross said: “Colin needs as much support as possible from passengers and local businesses. The service brings lots of retired people into town and that’s what keeps the shops going.”
He added: “Colin is known as the protector of Filey - he protects our vulnerable residents and makes sure they get home safely.”
Cllr Cross said it had been difficult for Colin to lose his regular schools contract as part of the cuts, but that he was determined to keep the bus going to make sure Filey residents could get out and about.
