VILLAGERS in Muston celebrated the Royal Wedding in regal fashion after enjoying a day filled with fun.
Adhering to a strict wedding dress code, scores of people gathered on the local green for a grand photograph to mark the occasion of William and Catherine’s big day.
A procession, headed by Peter Barker on a restored vintage tractor, led party-goers to a special event in the village hall where a wedding buffet was served and party games played.
Cllr Godfrey Allanson, who lives in the village, said the day had been thoroughly enjoyable and was pleased so many people got into the spirit.
He said residents received commemorative tea towels to remember the day and youngsters were given unique medallions marking the day.
He added: “It was a fantastic village occasion and special thanks must go to Mal Magson who chaired the committee which organised it all.
“It took them two days to get everything together but they did a fine job.”
