WALKERS in Hunmanby put their best foot forward during a sponsored walk to help a disabled youngster.

Thirty-seven people took part in a seven-mile circular trek from Hunmanby to Burton Fleming to raise £950 for a new specially adapted bicycle for five-year-old Isaac Porter.

Isaac, of Outgaits Lane, suffers from cerebral palsy, but his mother Cheryl, who was joined on the walk by Isaac’s father Andy, sister Georgia, and brother Josh, said his new bike would make a great difference to his independence.

She said they were still counting sponsorship money and thanked everyone for their kind support and donations.
