As a family run business, Lawrence Rand is the brainchild of its director, Peter Lawrence, whose focus is delivering the people’s estate agency in the “heart of the community”. After opening our doors in the midst of the 2008 recession, Peter’s vision was to establish an estate agency built upon the fundamental cornerstone of providing outstanding customer service. This “added value” attitude has seen the company go from strength to strength, not only opening a second branch but each year reviewing practices, investing in new and innovative software and consistently driving forward to improve customer experience.
Industry professionals agree and in October 2012, Lawrence Rand were named as Best Estate Agent in Middlesex at the International Property Awards 2012-2013. This brings our total to four awards in four years of trading.
We believe our unique community-based mission and values; to serve our clients’ interests in the best way possible by developing long term personal relationships with clients, is the single most important factor in Estate Agency.
We believe any agent can market a house but it takes time and the simple willingness to listen and work with the client that achieves results year in, year out at Lawrence Rand.
Halls are one of the oldest and most respected independent firms of Estate Agents, Chartered Surveyors, Auctioneers and Valuers with offices covering Shropshire, Worcestershire, Mid-Wales, the West Midlands and neighbouring counties, and are ISO 9000 fully accredited.
The company was founded in 1845 in the county town of Shrewsbury under the name of Hall, Wateridge and Owen. The present company trades as ‘Halls’ and still offers a traditional and professional service, now using the latest in computerised technology whilst retaining the personal touch.
Our objectives have always been to remain as diverse as possible and we are justifiably proud of the strength and diversity of our professional departments, ranging from Agricultural to Fine Art and Residential to Commercial. Our real strength lies in the experience and expertise of our directors and staff who are always keen to offer professional advice on all aspects of Sales and Marketing.
