HUNMANBY Hornets slipped to a 5-1 defeat in the final of the East Riding FA Vice-President's Cup in Hull on Wednesday night.
Hull City Rhinos netted four late goals to book the victory, though it did give an unfair reflection on the game.

Hunmanby had finished the first half on terms at 1-1, with a Cameron Dobson screamer levelling things up.

The Hornets had an effort cleared off the line as they pressed in the second half, but a mixture of controversial decisions and counter-attacking football allowed Rhinos to charge clear.

There were a number of fine performances for Hunmanby, with Dobson, Chris Elvidge, Chris Duley and Dan Baldry all catching the eye.
The Hornets are back in Sunday League division three action at Cayton tomorrow, 10.30am ko.
