Leeds kick off at homt to Grecians

LEEDS United kick off their League One season at home to newly-promoted Exter City on Saturday August 8.
It will be the first time the two clubs have ever met in the Football League, the Grecians have enjoyed success in the last two seasons winning promotion from the Conference and League Two in successive seasons.

Leeds will be hoping to continue with their opening day form which has seen them remain unbeaten since losing to Newcastle 5-2 in 1989.

Another team promoted automatically from League Two last season, Peter Taylor's Wycombe, provide Leeds with their first away fixture the following weekend.

This will be followed by another away journey, which is at Walsall on on August 18.

United are at home to Hartlepool on Boxing Day and then close their League two season at Bristol Rovers on May 8.
