Mixed fortunes for home-based drivers

LOCAL drivers had mixed fortunes at the latest round of Scarborough Autograss club at Hunmanby.
There was victory for Simon Ellis in stock hatch after Filey racer Craig Truelove suffered a puncture in the final.
Scott Easton was in fine form to win his class nine final in style, Maurice Parkin enjoyed glory in his class three, while Andy Cooper enjoyed victory in class six.
Club champion Chris Hodgson lost his season-long battle with Ryedale’s Paul Tateson in there class seven.
With next meeting on June 28 and 29, which is a two-day spectacular dash for cash.
All the local drivers will be out to grab glory in what makes for a highly entertaining and eventful weekend.
