FC FILEY under-16s are marching on in the Hull Sunday Boys League's Plate Cup.
They beat Cottingham Rangers B 6-3 after extra-time in their second round tie, with James Pinder scoring three goals after the match had ended 3-3 in normal time.

Filey went three-up with Alistair Barrigan scoring from the penalty spot after a Pinder header had been handled on the line, Ryan Scott netting with a free-kick and Pinder adding number three.

Cottingham stormed back in the second half when they had the elements in their favour but after they had levelled at 3-3, Pinder took charge for Filey with his extra-time treble.

Matthew Atkinson and Daniel Stephenson impressed in the Filey defence against third division leaders Cottingham.
