FILEY Sailing Club were holding an open day today to help recruit new members ahead of next month's annual regatta.
People will be able to try sailing, a catamaran, windsurfing and kayaking – all starting at 10am.

Those involved will need to bring a change of clothes such as tracksuit bottoms, a jacket to keep the wind off and a pair of trainers. A sun or warm hat is also advisable.

Children aged eight to 18 can try the events for free while there will be a charge of £10 for adults. The club has a canteen and there will also be a barbecue.

The club will stage their annual regatta on July 12 and 13.
