FILEY Town's two teams, Hunmanby United and Filey Spartans will all be earning three points for a win instead of two in the Saturday League next season.
Clubs voted to change the maximum points haul from two at the Scarborough League AGM - ending a long-standing league tradition.
Only league secretary Geoff Nellist and outgoing treasurer Stuart MacDonald voted to keep it as two points.
Sherburn
Reserves and Westover Wasps Reserves were both voted into the Saturday League at the meeting.
The pair both slotted into the third division after impressing member clubs at the CIU Club-based gathering.
League wooden-spoonists Ganton were re-elected, but there was confirmation that Snainton Reserves had resigned from the set-up.
There was also a few worrying moments for Shades, who came close to being kicked out because they were not affiliated the the league and for non-payment of competition fees.
The second division side also caused the league to be fined by the North Riding FA last season, due to the fact that they were not affiliated for four games.
A Shades representative turned up at the meeting to quash any fears and the club voted them back into the league.
This left 12 teams in both the first division and the second division, while 13 teams will compete in division three.
