Places are still up for grabs in the town’s first ever football league to take place on a 3G pitch.

The new leagues, organised by Football Mundial, will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and kick-off in March.

Games will take place between 7-10pm at Hull University’s Scarborough Campus on Filey Road and will be refereed by an FA qualified official.

Teams can register as many players as they like, with games lasting 40 minutes and costing £26.

The company, who also operate leagues at Pindar School on their astroturf pitch, are hoping to run two or three divisions of eight teams on each night.

The deadline for entry into the leagues is Friday March 7, and teams can enter by visiting www.footballmundial.com, ringing 01937 841440 or emailing info@footballmundial.com for any more information on how to get involved.
