Trafalgar put one hand on the Scarborough News Sunday League first division trophy on Tuesday night.
Liam Salt’s men eased to a 5-0 victory over Filey Flyers, putting them just a point away from the championship.
A draw in either of the final two games against either Roscoe’s or Cayton will be enough to spark the celebrations.
Rob Pinder was the star of the show for Traf as he banged in a first-half double, while Chris Dove made it three at the break.
Traf also had the luxury of missing from the spot, Steve Smith the culprit.
The three points were wrapped up after the half-time oranges, Dove doubling his tally, while Pinder went one better by completing his hat-trick.
Salt refused to single out any one player, describing the victory as a good all-round performance
