Barker and Maddison net Scarborough Angling Festival honours

Freddie Barker and Ray Maddison were the latest winners in the annual Scarborough Angling Festival.

Barker scooped top spot in the ET Peel Trophy heaviest single fish competition with a 5lb 2oz 12drm catch on Thursday.

On Friday, Maddison continued his fine form in the festival by claiming pole position in the Scarborians Trophy roving competition heaviest single fish contest, his 4-3-8 effort securing the honours.
