Mud in the Blood off-road motorbiking held its first event on Sunday and was heralded by its organiser Pete Goodworth as being a great success.

The inaugral meeting, held at Mud in the Blood’s Seamer Road site was attended by 12 riders, a number which the event’s co-ordiantors were very satisfied with.

Goodworth said: “As it was our first time we were not quite sure how many riders we could manage but there were a dozen in attendance and I was pretty pleased with how it worked out. We were a bit apprehensive about how things would go but the figures have turned out to be managable and everyone who attended remarked that they had enjoyed themselves.”

Pleased by the success of their first attempt, Mud in the Blood are looking to stage a follow up event in the near future.

Goodworth added: “After the success of Sunday we are looking to organise another meeting for next month.”
