Scarborough RUFC Vikings suffered a surprise 41-10 hammering on the road at Driffield 3rds on Saturday.

The Scarborough second-string enjoyed a 25-10 success against their opponents a week earlier, but lost out in the return fixture on the road over the weekend.

The home side dominated the first 40 minutes and went into the break with a commanding 36-0 lead.

However, the Vikings improved after the break and tries from Oliver Brown and Billy Parker reduced their deficit somewhat.

The home side weren’t to be denied though and ran out 41-10 victors to avenge their defeat last week.
