MEMBERS of the Rotary Club of Filey rolled back the years during an annual musical show.

The group put on ‘A Century of Songs’ for an audience of around 1,000 people at Filey School, with numbers dating back from the wartime era to the present day.

The cast featured a mix of Rotarians, their partners and children from Filey School and Scarborough College, who performed famous songs including O What A Lovely War and Knees Up Mother Brown.

The show has been a highlight of the Filey’s Rotary calendar for a number of years and rehearsals, under the guidance of producer Liz Butler started back in October.

Organisers said they received many positive responses from the audience, who are were keen to find out when their next production would be taking place.
