Details have been revealed for the 2015 Filey Folk Festival, with organisers vowing that this year’s event will be the biggest to date.

Over 150 acts will grace stages across the town over the first bank holiday weekend in May.

The event, which is backed by the town council, has been a staple in Filey for over a decade but has grown considerably in recent years.

And this year, the musical acts will be staged across eight venues.

These include the Masonic Hall, the Evron Centre, the Imperial and Bonhommes.

There will also be intimate gigs at the Bronte Vinery and at Filey Music Shop.

Besides live music, organisers have promised there will be art and street performances.

The shows take place between from May 1 and May 3.

Some of the bigger acts will be ticketed, although most of the concerts over the weekend will be free.
