GREEN-FINGERED enthusiasts in Hunmanby are throwing open their gardens to help the village’s bid for floral glory.
Gardeners are inviting the public to come and see their colourful creations to boost funds for this year’s Hunmanby in Bloom campaign.
The event will take place on Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31, and will feature a number of plant stalls for inspired gardeners to improve their own plot.
Experts from Scarborough Council’s gardening department will also be on hand to answer questions and give advice.
Younger gardening stars will also be showcasing their work, with Hunmanby Primary School opening its grounds for people to enjoy.
Tickets are £3.50 for adults with accompanied children under 16 getting in for free.
Tickets will be on sale each day from Bayley Gardens from 10.45am and are valid on both days.
