A POPULAR Flixton pub is set to ring in the changes in the new year in a bid to help get the tills ringing again.
The Foxhounds Inn has recently had a management reshuffle, and the new team in charge have vowed to serve up a treat to customers by installing a carvery.
One half of the new management team, Gary Blackburn, said that the decision to install the carvery is largely down to feedback from regulars.
He said: “We asked people what they wanted, and the idea of a carvery kept on coming up, and it’s clearly something that interests a lot of people.
“We think that it’s going to be quite a successful business idea.”
Besides the introduction of the carvery, work will start on improving the function room, and the novel idea of holding a crafts fair, as well as a car boot sale, outside the pub has been mooted.
Mr Blackburn added: “These are just some ideas to bring people into the pub.”
