FILEY fundraisers are celebrating after boosting a campaign to help a young disabled boy.
The Friends of Noah raised £530 during the town festival for the Noah Woolford Trust, with an extra £140 made during the festival fun day.
The funds will go towards helping three-year-old Noah Woolford, who has four-limb cerebral palsy and whose grandmother Audrey Lakin lives in West Avenue, get a new specially adapted wheelchair.
The overall fund in Filey alone now stands at £4,032, with further charity events planned for closer to Noah’s home near Leeds.
Sheila Sutcliffe, one of the Filey fund-raisers, said: “We would like to thank Neil’s Art Studio for donating the painting for the raffle, Diane Yalezo, members of the Festival Committee and all the Friends of Noah in the Filey parish for their ongoing support.”
