New Scarborough Athletic signing Scott Brown can't wait to burst back into the English game.
The 20-year-old full-back has been plying his trade in Sweden for the past two years following his release from Doncaster Rovers.
And though he enjoyed his spell in Scandinavia, he was always keen to push his way back through the rungs of the English ladder.
"It was an experience in Sweden and I really enjoyed it," said Brown.
"I had been out there for two years though, so I thought I'd give the English game another go.
"Swedish football is a lot different, it is a lot slower and less aggressive, but I'll be okay, it'll be like I've never been away."
Brown already has experience of Boro, as he turned out against them in pre-season for Frickley.
He added: "It was a good game to play in. Scarborough looked really good, they played us off the park.
"Scarborough are a good club to be at, they are really going places and I'm looking forward to being involved in that.
"I started off at Doncaster, so obviously I want to get back to a good level. Hopefully I can do that with Scarborough."
