The Post Office has announced that a free temporary bus service will be in place during the closure of the Filey branch.
The Murray Street branch, which has closed today for refurbishment, will now also open a day earlier than anticipated, with the re-opening next Wednesday, January 23.
The free bus service, which was announced this afternoon, will ferry passengers from Filey to nearby branches in Cayton and Hunmanby.
The service will leave Filey for the Hunmanby branch from 9am, 11am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
The free service will also leave for Main Street, in Cayton, at 10am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 4.30pm.
Buses will run at these times every weekday leading up to the re-opening on Wednesday.
There are no weekend services.
