DEVELOPERS behind works to transform a former Filey pub are raising a glass after finishing the project.
The Royal Crescent Vaults, on the corner of South Crescent Road and Royal Crescent has been turned into four luxury holiday apartments.
The development includes three two-bedroom and one three-bedroom residences, complete with a first floor extension above the existing toilet block.
The application initially attracted criticism from some local residents who said the development would cause traffic congestion and overlook existing properties.
However, Scarborough Council’s planning officials backed the proposals after assurances were given to the authority over off-site parking spaces in the area.
