Sales and revenue records have been smashed at a Hunmanby-based firm.

Noise monitoring specialists Cirrus Research revealed the excellent results following a HQ and team restructuring across the company.

Martin Ellison, who joined the company in February as its new sales manager, has overseen a seismic shift, enjoying record-breaking months and sales-topping targets throughout 2018 so far.

In sales, March was the largest month in the company’s 48-year history; the week-on-week targets have seen an uplift of 21% and the final quarter and Year End targets (June 30, 2017 – July 1, 2018) are also set to be smashed.

The Cirrus Frankfurt-based office is also above forecasts and its Spanish operation is enjoying a 48% uplift in its average order size.

Cirrus is planning to recruit further, adding to its marketing and digital team, while strengthening its French and UK sales operations and investing in new IT sales support tools.

Mr Ellison said: “It has been a momentous year for the Cirrus team.

“We have seen significant investment in the company’s head office as well as a recruitment drive that has brought new skills in to Cirrus that are paying dividends.”
