SPEETON’S coastline forms the focus of the latest North Yorkshire and Cleveland Coastal Forum next week.
Residents will be able to gain an insight into developments along the coast and share their passion for caring and improving for the area.
This year’s topics will include a presentation on the Dogger Bank wind farm proposal, the North Sea Marine Conservation Zones project and the EU Water Framework Directive.
There will also be time spent discussing works and schemes to stop water pollution in coastal streams.
The forum takes place on Friday, September 16, in Woodend Gallery, in Scarborough.
It will get under way from 9.45am.
