Two women are set to stand trial over allegations of neglect at a Filey care home.

A judge will hear the case of both Siobhan Koralewski, 28, and Maragret Koralewski, 65, who are accused of four counts of neglect and ill-treatment of residents at the now closed Roundstone Residential Home, in Brooklands.

The trial of the duo is schedule to start on August 2.

However, at a hearing at Scarborough Magistrates’ on Friday July 5, a request was made for the trial to start on a different date, possibly August 6.

The pair both appeared at the hearing, but both only confirmed their names and addresses before the case was passed up to Crown Court.

The allegations are alleged to have took place between June 1 and November 30 2012.

Both defendants have already entered not guilty pleas at an earlier hearing in May.

Both were granted conditional bail until the trial, which is expected to last several days.
