BAYLEY Gardens were officially opened by Esme Porter whose family has long been connected with Hunmanby.
The revamp has taken several years in terms of planning and organnisation and has been helped by grants from various organisations as well as the Co-op and B&Q.
Members of Filey Rotary Club even chipped in with two days of gardening help.
The gardens were last declared open 40 years ago on May 15 1967 by Miss P Woodcock.
