Filey Lions are holding their annual firework display and organisers have said this years show is going to be the biggest and best yet.
The group, who have been putting displays on for decades, will be hosting the show on November 5 at West Avenue Car Park in Filey.
And this year the event is being staged on Guy Fawkes day itself, after previous displays were held after November 5.
It will feature a traditional bonfire and a lantern competition. However, this year the display will have a twist as the fireworks will be choreographed and set to music.
Tony Nixon, from the Filey Lions, said last years display was a “ massive success”, but he is hoping that, as the event falls on November 5 itself, the turnout will be even greater.
He said: “If it’s anything like last year, it will be fantastic.”
“The crowd last year was incredible, but with what we have planned it will hopefully be better than ever.”
The display is free, and their will be several stalls serving refreshments at the Car Park.
The bonfire starts at 6.15pm, with the lantern competition starting at 6.45pm, and the fireworks will start at 7.15pm.
Organisers have asked people not to bring their own sparklers.
