PLANS have been unveiled to convert a former Hunmanby insurance company office into two flats.
Under the proposals, the old NFU Mutual office, in Hungate Lane, and existing flat space above, would be transformed into one-bedroom dwellings.
Architects Martin Elwick said the original plans had catered for car parking space behind the building but had now been changed to provide larger amenity space.
Hunmanby Parish Council has revealed it has no objections to the plans though North Yorkshire County Council highways bosses said the development will put more pressure on Hunmanby’s on-street parking.
The former NFU Mutual office closed in November last year when the company moved to brand new offices outside Scarborough.
