Striker Lamin Colley has goals on his mind after committing to Scarborough Athletic.

The 23-year-old frontman became the fourth new face at Athletic after joining up from Conference North side Bradford Park Avenue.

He joins keeper Jordan Porter, as well as strikers Paul Beesley and Callum Terrell on the books.

"I'm looking forward to it, I can't wait to get going," he said.

"I'm dropping down a level or two, but sometimes you have to do that to go back up and I want to do that with Scarborough.

"The manager Steve Kittrick got in touch with me, sold me the club and said that he wants Scarborough to be in the Conference North in two seasons, that sounds good to me.

"I'm here to score goals and play my part in helping the team to win the league.

"This is a big club and it should be a lot higher in the football pyramid, which is what everyone wants.

"I'm feeling confident, but not overly confident. I know I've got to get my head down and dig in for the club."

Colley has turned out against Boro in the past when they faced up in a pre-season friendly a few years ago.

He added: "The things I can remember about that game are the fact that I was lucky enough to score and also the size and volume of the Scarborough crowd.

"Playing in front of a crowd like that every week will be amazing."
