More than 70 people headed out on Easter Monday for the annual Scalby Walk.
The charity event, established in 1959, got underway at 10.30am with participants starting out from The Nags Head public house.
Organised by the Scalby Fair Committee, the walk raises cash for a different charity or organisation each year, with 2014’s proceeds to be split between Scalby Football Club and Scalby Cricket Club.
Last year, Ellie’s Fund Brain Tumour Trust benefited from a £1,650 donation, while £2,250 was presented to Scarborough’s YMCA in 2012.
Many of those taking part did so in fancy dress.
