TWITCHERS and animal fanatics in Filey are being invited to witness a month of wildlife wonders.
The RSPB are holding a raft of family-friendly activities in Filey Country Park throughout August for people to get closer to nature.
The scheme will see a nature walk every Thursday around the park at 10.30am and 1.30pm, for visitors to see seabirds and sand martins, butterflies and toads that live in the area.
Two ‘life on the edge’ walks will also take place to look at inter-tidal wildlife including hermit crabs, velvet swimming crabs and sea slugs.
These are set to take place at 9.30am on Friday, August 12, and 1pm on Friday, August 19.
Organisers have said anyone interested should dress accordingly for the terrain, with the meeting point for all walks near the cafe in the Country Park.
