The Scarborough & District Minor League have published a list of teams’ contact details and information in the hope of attracting new players to the league.
Due to a lack of players, the Under-13s and 15s leagues have disbanded, but players are being encouraged to play an age-group up.
Newly-elected committee member Alec Coulson said: “Some parents don’t know where to start when trying to find a team for their child. We’d like to encourage any boy or girl of any ability to get involved and try and find a team.”
The league also have a new Facebook page, search ‘Scarborough & District Minor League’ for more.
