Scalby under-12s produced their best attacking performance of the season to win 7-1 against Scholes Park Raiders at a chilly Carr Lane.
The home side exerted the early pressure, and were rewarded after just five minutes when Jack Rogers swept home after Scholes failed to clear their lines from a corner.
Scalby went close a number of times before they doubled their lead after 15 minutes - with Scholes playing a high defensive line the excellent Tom Bowes surged through on his own and finished into the corner from 15 yards.
Bowes notched his second, slotting home after fine work from Jack Hannah.
In the second half Scholes pressed hard for a way back into the game with star man Toby Dennis driving them on, but home centre half Lewis Tadman was in commanding form as they left themselves open to the counter.
Alfie Dixon went close on a number of occasions before Hannah made it 4-0 after breaking clear and rounding the Raiders goalkeeper.
Scholes did pull one back after a good move with a nice finish from Jared Elwick, but Scalby killed off any hope of a comeback with Tadman getting his first of the season after being put through by Kai McFaul.
John Clifford made it six, before star man Bowes completed his hat-trick with a sublime volley from a corner.
