Former Scarborough Athletic striker Zeph Thomas is one of three players to be suspended by the Football Association.
Thomas, who now plays for Mickleover, Tyler Weir and Scott Spencer have all been given suspensions from all football and football activity after they admitted breaching FA Rules.
The trio have been charged with failing to immediately report to The FA an approach by a third party related to seeking to influence the outcome or conduct of a match or competition.
The three players were not involved in any attempt to fix matches and did not accept monies or gifts.
Thomas, who admitted one breach, has been immediately suspended for four months of which six weeks will be applied immediately with the balance being suspended for two years.
